The start of something AWESOME.....now assembled (pics in post 50)

Pulled the Jewel apart and fixed the problem. YAY :rockOn: (Thanx to Inspector [G.T. for those that know him] here on CGN) :bigHug:

Unfortunately, by opening it up, I found out that I was sold an HVR trigger and NOT a BR trigger as I was lead to believe.......just wish I could remember who I purchased it from so I could send it back for the proper trigger or a refund.

So you'll be running the 180vlds then I'm guessing? At what kinda speeds?

180 Hybrids actually. Hoping for 2920 with the fireformed brass but I seem to be having some serious runout issues at the moment with some of my brass that was fired in my previous Shehane and I can't pinpoint the problem.

Tried 2 different seating dies with the same problem but brass shows 0 runout before seating bullets.

I will have to check my newly formed brass and see if it has same issues.

no safety eh? that is cool I haven't seen a coyote with that style bolt shroud before

The rifle is one of a pair of single shot target actions specially built by PGW as grand prizes at the 2011 Western Canada F Class Championship.

To my knowledge, there are only three coyotes in existence wearing that particular shroud design, all built earlier this year. Other PGW coyote single shot target actions have a slightly different shroud design but still no safety.
