The T97 Thread!

Aside from better build quality in general, I noticed that the linear hammer spring has braided coils in my 15### like the piston spring does.

how is the mag well fitment on your 15#########X ? Have you got any lose fit magazines ? bullets pushed into cases ?

Magwell fit was similar to the 14### I had. Fed all STANAG steel/aluminium magazines just fine as well as Gen3 PMAGs. I had to modify the magwell slightly to fit other polymer magazines like my IMI and Lancers but they fed flawlessly afterwards.

With my 14### the only issue I had was firing a clean gun on the adverse gas setting, this would cause bullets to get pushed into the case. My 15### does not have this issue.

Yeah coiled striker spring is all I seen different. Still rammed the round into the case if it didn't like the magazine. No problem with that on other mags.

Put a LHG on it before it ever being shot, almost seems like the weaker trigger spring is having trouble with the reset. Only 50 rounds through it so that's not saying much.

Just got my t97 in mail today was trying all my Ar mags in it only one that wouldn't fir was an lar mag with a green follower all other mags work well was trying them out with dummy rounds I made.. Using the Lee factory crimp had no issues bullets getting pushed into case could be because I was just cycling by hand or perhaps the factory crimp die.. I usually go pretty heavy with it

See how it goes this weekend but like I said my ammo had a healthy crimp.. And range should be dead with hight of - 23

I've had my 15### T97 for about 2 months now, shot about 600 rounds with it. No issues at all so far, only using stock magazine since I don't have aftermarket ones yet.

Prototype mag release... It will require permanent modifications to the rifle, and is in very early stages, but I am hopeful.

The grey mag well is just to hold the internals, which I am 3d printing the prototypes.

Hopefully the video works,
I am being gentle with it as it is only printed plastic, but am in talks with a machinist friend about machining it from aluminum.

So far I am pretty hopeful.
