The T97 Thread!

Ya has to be a low profile red dot, that’s what I use. It still sits high but once you get used to it it’s a non issue. If I could figure out how to post pics from my phone I’d show you lol

Does anyone have screws for this rail? I guess the previous owner misplaced them.. willing to pay a fair amount cause if not I'm going to have to buy a new one.

So I finished the custom release, had some issues with making it a true ambi as the ar15 release was too short and everything had to be drilled, filed or threaded. So I ended up making it a left only release ant the original button was drilled out and now acts as a locknut. Everything works perfect and it looks clean I just to find a way to fill the gap in front of the shorter ar15 release? Any ideas?

Some sort of epoxy?

What mag release did you use exactly?

Just a generic ar15 ambi. Be warned it took a ridiculous amount of fitting, plus you will have to drill out the button and tap it ect. It took me a few weeks over a few hours here and there. Also if you make the slightest mistake you are screwed because you can revert after drilling and taping the button. The ambi has to be not only filed to fit the space but because it’s shorter you have to file the catch the goes in to mags itself almost by half for it to work. If you don’t have machine or gunsmithing experience I’d avoid this mod. Cheers
