Nice troll, champ.
The G22 is prohib because the stock can be removed and then still be fired. If you came out with a conventional stock for the G22 they would be back on store shelves..
The G22's prohib status has nothing to do with "some hot shot cop" any more than it could also be blamed on "some hot shot dermatologist" or perhaps "some hot shot McDonald's janitor" .
The G22 fits with the legal cubbyhole of prohib because that's the way it came off the drawing board, end of story. Keep your inflammatory remarks to yourself. Now run along upstairs, your mom is calling you.
The g22 is perfectly legal. It's stock is a prohib device, however.
^^^Sure you can own one...great. But I can't sell it.....so is it really mine to do with as I see fit? And further to this: I own one, why can't anybody else? I have no specuial statuse, 12(x), whatever. Why can't anyone with the same level lic. as me own one? Sorry, they can't have it both ways, although that's what they are trying to pull. They have created a new class of firearms...one that is non-res. to some, and prohib to others. I can transfer a 12(2) to another 12(2) holder, 12(3) to another 12(3) holder, but I can't transfer a friggin .22 to ANYONE? Either prohib it and grandfather owners, or revert back to the original non-rest. status and let anyone own one. Only in Canada........
Last time I checked the RCMP guys that determined the classification were in fact A: Cops, and B: Prone to making classifications based on anything but facts (See "GSG-5")
Communists that want to come on these boards and spew propaganda about not questioning their government and staying in line, in my opinion, on average, are not welcome here...... Just my opinion..
