The TAVOR

Good find.. the case is almost 32" wide and the Non-Rest TAR clocks in at 28.5" ... so it might just fit.

28.5" is for the regular TAR-21 with an 18.1" barrel... we're getting a special one with an 18.75" barrel (so it's non-restricted) so the overall length of ours should be approx. 30.1"

Looks like DVC has them on clearout.

I don't see a model 1700 on their website... did you see it in store or have they pulled it off their site cause I was too slow to pick one up before the rest of CGN got on board? ;)

Info please

Okay, tons of info out there...

A few questions...

$3000 for a basic;

Mars instead of Mepro= +$1000

How much for spare short barrel?

Do the barrels interchange easily? Like, by me at the range?

Can I not just put my EOTECH on it?

Waiting Out...

You can put your EOTech on it, you need the rail riser to replace the mepro-21.

I've downloaded the armorer manual on this thread somewhere. It is simple to switch barrels but I don't think you should do it on the range.

You need to remove the cocking handle (drift pins and unscrew the front sling point and another piece) then swing out the whole assembly. Then you have to drift another pin and with the appropriate wrench (sorta flat) you unlock the barrel to finaly take it out. Only then you'll be able to take off the mepro-21.

Hey CanAm, is there a possibility of getting the Tavor with Green Plastic furniture instead of black? I saw the Colombian ones on the news and they looked pretty good in green.

Would you be making a soft or a hard case for the tavor? I was going to pick up pelican case for mine but if your going to make a case for it that would be cheaper I maybe interested.

Since you already have the Storm cases, you could probably just cut a bunch of foam insides for the Tavors, couldn't you?

Weren't you doing laser cut foam for hard cases before?

We are getting a lot of calls from people asking when they will get their gun. We have orders dating back to 06. First orders ship first. So you can check your order date, and get an idea of when you will get yours. It will take us about 3 weeks to get through them all. Thanks for your patience.
