The TAVOR

Chris you ma want to note, the rifle dose not come with the mars selector linkage. so you may want to double check that the mars sight its self comes with it, and your customers can send the rifle back to you for install if the dont wish to try it them selves, they will need the barrel wrench to get to that part. FYI to every one the selector comes out easy but you need to compleatly disasemble the rifle to get it back togeather, I forsee alot of boxes of parts coming back to be made into rifles again.

How bad was your spent brass(dented bad or OK?)...I have progressive press and plan on doing some reloading.

I always seem to get reasonable groups (3-4" at 100 yards) except for a real flyer in every group of 5 or so. You may find things are different for you. Use the UMC for doing DT exercises, or shooting steel. I haven't found it very satisfying to shoot for groups with it ... then again I'm using a mixed batch of the stuff whereas yours is all one lot. You will likely get better results.

The brass looked just find if a little dirty ... nothing that your tumbler won't fix.

If my Mom and Pop were not in town this week I would have been bumming a ride from you. my fat ass can maby handle 300m rundown.
I just made the barrel wrench and got the thing apart, and am only now doing the trigger job, so fall all is good. real test will be at the range, I'll let you know, Tue we should go, the demo night vision unit should arive today and I'll have it for two weeks, my unit is still a month or so away, when I get it I'll bring it by and we can surch your dark bacment for the undead:D
so far the only down side to the T21 is the fact it is a bullpup, but that is also what gives it alot of pluses.

I found the UMC stuff dirty and not that accurate in AR years ago - since then I had not bought a single box.

I avoid it as a general rule as well. I ran across some quite cheap and couldn't resist. Like I said, not much good for groups but ok for close up drills.

For a while I thought it was all due to my crappy shooting skills ... it turns out that was only half true. :p

It takes a standard AR15 mag, so ten rounders are fine as long as they are 'pistol mags'. See the Questar website for an explanation and ordering instructions. Whatever you do, do not re-pin existing 5 round limited mags (say a 30 round mag limited to 5) to 10, that would be illegal.

I am inpatient cause this will be my first black rifle unless of course my XCR gets here first. I bought 3000 rounds for these guns months ago in anticipation and a bunch of extra things. I haven't fired a firearm in almost a year so I am getting a little ansie. Being cooped up in Fort McMurray all winter and finally having good weather does that to a person. Don't get much time off either so I have to make the best of what I got for time. Time is money up here as many people say.
 
What kind of sling mount does the Tavor have? Will a sling that fits an AR-15 fit a Tavor?

Also, I ordered my Tavor like, 5 hours ago. Why haven't you shipped it yet!!! Oh boy, this wait is going to kill me.
 
They're in and they're coming for real, no need to get too jumpy. Just load the mags with the ammo you got (you should have plenty of LAR-15 mags don't you ??) and pratice house clearing with your other guns to enjoy the wait before tavor arrives :ninja:
