ordered mine Jan 08.Billed last Friday and have a notice to pick something up at the post office.Hopefully its you know what.No tracking # ever came

Question,

Has anyone tried to convert it to left-handed or as any idea of where we could find the barrel wrench and how to take out the rail on the right side of the gun.

Hey Chris, Just what attaches to the space behind the sight? It looks like there is some kind of spring loaded release, and a flanged disc to attach something there.

!

Ordered 6th of may 2007, shipped 2nd of june and I received my tracking number the same day from Mark.
There is times when I wish I came from BC!!:(

Thats for the scope mount for the 4x optical scope. You should download the armorers manual off there web site.

Hope you get it for the course & while you're at it could you pick mine too :D

I'm trying to decide whether I should use it for the course or stick with the AR. The Tavor is 'untested' at this point and I won't have time to hit the range before Monday... what do you think? Could be fun :D

I contemplated running my Tavor as primary, but I want to focus on the techniques being taught, not trying to remember where my bolt release is. Although, I'm pretty sure by the end of the course, I'd know it intimately.

I'll bring it along, but I'm pretty sure I'll be running my ARs for the course. You run yours. I want to see how it does :D

Yeah... I think I'll be sticking to my AR for the IDFR course and have the Tavor as back up. The other complicating factor is I don't have a tac sling for it. Does anyone know whether or not a Vickers sling will work on the Tavor? Does it have the right sling mounts?

I'll post some pics once I have it my hands... currently waiting at the post office!

Picked up mine today and went straight to the range. The SL8 was growing on me and thought I might be selling one but they are 2 different animals so have to keep both :) I don't think I will be trying to shoot any further than 100 yards with the mepro sight though. It looked like it was about 6 inch diameter at 100.Still had a 6 inch group though which is good for me because I suck still:D
