The TAVOR

Depend on which box, I haven't seen any firing pin with mine, I'm pretty much the most pissed off guy on block since then...

R U serious?

You mean you have a TAVOR and haven't been able to use it...?

If this is the case there is something SERIOUSLY WRONG.

$2999+Tax and your rifle is not usable?:runaway:

I am sure CanAm will take care of it....

Unless i'm real blind and haven't found it... Yes is it useless...

I've looked everywhere to make sure I didn't miss something: Big box, the two smaller ones, the IWI cleaning kit, the newspaper (Vancouver Buisness IIRC) and the Tavor bag. At first I thought everything was right, I opened the butt and took the parts out to make sure the bolt was in, but I didn't look in the firing pin channel. Wednesday I took it to the range, loaded a mag and there I am... No questions, it is the nicest registered 3000$ paperweight ever :bangHead:.

I've sent Chris an email, I'm sure there'll be a solution to this particular matter.

Apart from my problem, the rifle is really nice; short, very light to shoulder, confortable to hold and the controls are natural. The trigger feels strange on the takeup but its the usual bullpup, its not that bad. The perfect ATV sized sandpit blaster. I just long to shoot it

The firing pins were shipped with the rifles but not installed in the rifles ... its the way the Israelis shipped them. As a result, once the rifle arrives on your doorstep, you have to install the firing pin if you want to do some shooting.

Man this is really not a good idea , so you have a bunch of people who might f**k up their expensive gun right off the bat.
The dealer should install this and function check, i`m sure it would have been greatly appreciated.

Got a chance to shoot one today:)Thanks Detonator:)
I dont think its the gun for me but it was nice to finaly try and see what it was like.

My firing pin is in a small plastic bag with the serial number on it.

Tavor (IWI) Tool Kit...

CanAm

Is there a Tavor Tool Kit? Or an IWI tool kit...

...would be real nice to work on the Baby Desert Eagle and the Tavor, with IWI tools in my home work shop...

cheers

Rhdh

Are you still shipping? I am very eager to get my package, find the firing pin, install the firing pin, and head out to the range -even in the pouring rain!

Thanks

Very excited... I just got my tracking number. My order was made in the middle of October '07, so I don't know if that corresponds to the exact order that CanAm is sending them out. Either way, I'm glad it's coming my way.

Oh boy, I just ordered mine two weeks ago... I guess I still have quite a wait. Sucks to be last in line.

Tracking number may not be that useful

I never got the tracking number. I noticed I got charged for the rifle. 3 days later, the rifle showed up.
