Just a note: A member of this board will be making rails very soon for the Tavor. We just sent the demo gun for him to proto them. I will leave the rest of the details to him when the time comes.

The Acog clone finally showed up, and is almost ideal for me and the Tavor. If it had about 1/4" more height and another inch of eye relief it would be the perfect fit.

You will need ( YHM-227A ) Riser for 1/4" height more and 1.1/4 Longer .just pass the rear sight base.
then you will fit for ACOG eye lever and eye relief.

IMO, having to peer through a small gap to see your dot defeats the purpose of mounting that sort of paralax free CCO.

Nice rifle though.

I talked to Kyle Precision about 2 weeks ago. They are in the middle of moving but they are hoping to have the rail available in Feb 2009.

Mine will look allmost the same but will be taller,lower third co-witness and will come with a barrel wrench.A S&B short dot in a laRue spr 1.5 mount will clear the rear sight.
