The TAVOR

Taurus does not have the US sales rights, only Brazil. As for reselling do to price. Only 5-10% of owners have sold their guns based on our shipping data for sending the new bolts. People like their Tavors.

TAR21

Got mine 'USED' it was never fired..... got it from a lefty that was tired of waiting for bolts..... good for me as you still cant get them... bolts or guns... haha

CanAm are you guys close to sending out the new bolts?

I think they are just about ready to go. We had to wait for many to call us back to confirm. IF you have not heard from us, please call, as we have left a lot of messages with no call backs.

So the IDF is choosing to limit the tools in the tool box by not teaching support side shooting??

Firemachine69, I'm aware of the left bolt. My concern is transitions, which apparently the IDF doesn't support.

So what about the fixed LOP that limits the ability to use the system when wearing armour or with smaller statured operators? Don't forget the massive offset as well.

Taurus has a plant in Miami! Why couldn't they manufacture the Tavor here? I don't see why not. IWI doesn't have a problem with them in the US. They just need someone to do it.
I think CanAm said for me to wait for production in the US . So what information do you have for us peons?
Taurus is our only hope here in the US. Money to be made people!!!

I'm sure for now Israeli SF are using AR's, but as the troops currently serving rotate out and troops trained on the Tavor rotate in you'll see that change. The Israelis have a tendency to stick with a platform throughout their career, independant of unit or role. This was seen with the FN, troops got rid of heavily used rifles and had them replaced with less used rifles of the same type, as recruits were trained on the AR. Rifles are relatively cheap, retraining on new weapons systems isn't.

Quite the contrary... Israeli SF never used the Galil, and I bet they won't be using the Tavor.
I'm not saying it's a bad rifle, but bullpups have some disadvantages...

The real question is: would Kevinb use a Tavor in combat ?
:D
