Handguns:
Old Model Blackhawk .357, 4 5/8" bbl - excellent trigger, points incredibly well, tough as nails, powerful
Ruger MK II, any variant - pain in the ass to dissassembloe but inexpensive and reiliable to plink or teach with
GP-100, 5" bble, no under lug - points well, tough as nails and relatively inexpensive with power and wieght savings without the under barrel lug
Norinco Tokarev - blaster without safeties, decockers or any pretense of refinement. Ammo is cheap and you can get brass for it as well. The pistol is built tough and if you pace yourself with the laquered ammo you can really heat up the barrel. With copperwashed Norinco ammo it'll go all day.
Note: I know these are almost all Rugers but they are what I have the most experience with. I also like CZ, 1911 and Beretta pistols but these are the ones that seem to follow me around the most.
