Unfortunately due to the OIC the AR platform will be prohibited. Grandfathering will be offered but your AR will be a safequeen. In the meantime while we wait for the CPC to come back and rescind the OIC the Troy PAR should give similar ergonomics and the ability to keep our skills sharp. In all this doom and gloom findings ways to burn through our 223 stockpile whilst having fun may help us keep our sanity:ar15:

Over the years what government overturned any such legislation ? Imo it would be political suicide for the conservatives even with a majority to overturn this oic
 
This was the actual reason that gun was invented.
So people could shoot something ARish where the real ones are banned.

But who even knows if these pump action rifles will be next on the banned list?

They over turned the ban on Vz 58 and Swiss Arms. They pushed back the long gun registry. They relaxed the laws on Restricted firearms. What makes you think they can’t push back at this?

This. The conservatives can and I think will overturn this IF they can get a majority. People need to wake up though and stop splitting votes to ‘punish’ the conservatives for not doing enough in their opinion.

Lol... The CPC Public Safety Minister (Steven Blaney) was the one who signed off on the ban on the SAN and CZ858...nice of him to reverse his own screw-up.

If the Liberal's fail to pass the legislation than a conservative minority can overturn the OIC with another OIC repealing the first one.

It's your best option and in the 2 years amnisty you can prepare your papers and export your firearms , I am preparing all documentation to be ready fo it.
