The Troy PAR in 556 is about to become really popular

Only problem is you can still afix a AR-15 upper to the lower and will get labled as an AR-15 Variant. However redesign the upper and lower and you're good to go.
 
Anyone know where you can buy shorter barrels for the par, and how to swap them out? What's the shortest you can go without trimming back the tube furniture?
Or I guess who would you recommend to do the work in Canada? I'm not skilled with the ar platform.

Troy slide-action in 6.5 Grendel would be nice.

And yeah hopefully these Troy rifles are as easy to swap components as the ARs are.

Can you confirm that's possible? I think they probably deliberately avoided cross-compatibility between receiver halves...

Well the Liberals have promised this is just the beginning..... Pretty much anything that someone that likes AR's might gravitate towards will be seen as a threat given their illogical ideological approach.

They have no real plan that they can share beyond reducing civilian arms to a minimum and making that unaffordable for most plebes.

can use ar15 barrel block gas port hole.
im interested in one with 300blk 10.5 barrel

The PAR and SAR are not a variant of the AR and both the upper and lower are proprietary and not compatible with an AR upper or lower. This was done on purpose to make them legal in countries and states in the US that also banned the AR platform these are non restricted in Canada and unless the Liberals decide to start including pump action firearms to their ban on semi automatics I think these rifles will be imported by the hundreds of thousands into Canada in the next 2 years
 
I have had a few troy par's over the last 2 years. I just wanted to be able to make an nonrestricted sbr . I replaced my 223 barrel with a 7.62x39 . Still waiting on the heavier hammer spring to arrive.

Also use an enhanced firing pin which protrudes more to ignite the deeper surplus primers
 
The par has a proprietary firing pin so milled off a few thousands off the stopper to allow it to reach out a little further

Like the bolt action rifles that are now banned? These too will be banned, but I'm considering one in order to continue filling my gun room with NR firearms.

I refuse to recognize an OIC from a minority government who refuses to convene Parliament.
