The "What Have You Reloaded Today" thread

OK! Here it is, My First 10 rounds of 9mm
Special Thanks to Dean at Select Shooting Supplies for all his help and advise!

I'm set up on a Square Deal for 9mm and I picked up some Hodgdon CFE pistol and CCI primers
I had one primer not seat in the base properly (it sticks out like me on a dance floor.)
I had to check the throw 20 times to get these down to base load as the machine wasn't set perfectly but i think that was due to me getting it "open box."
and filling primer tubes and knocking a box of primers all over is not the funnest thing to do ever! (might have dropped a cuss word? I'll serve the 2 minutes in the box.)

Well today I wasnt reloading I was actually Packaging with my vac seal. I packed 500 .40 S&W, 300 30-06, approx 300 .300 Savage, and about 200 rounds of hunting type 7.62x39 and a few thousand primers away. Tomorrow I will tie into my TiteGroup powder and put a bunch of that (maybe 5 lbs) through the sealer. It still leaves me with a healthy pile o shoot. this way i can control hats been shot and reloaded a little easier. While some ppl may ask why, I ask why not it stops me from reloading annd stressing the same piece of brass keeps the powder and primers safe from moisture and anything else... Have a good night Y'all

Another 353 rounds 357mag with starline brass, 158gr campro in front of 8.6gr hs-6. and 46 rounds of 9mm campro 124 & 1 round 9mm 147gr campro(mixed in the 124gr shipment, don't want to waste it) to finish off the 400 primers.
Factory closed for now just before summer fully kicks in. 6000 rounds in the past a few weeks on and off(pause during the week as I can only test my new loads on weekends) 6 different calibers. should last me until winter when the factory will re-open again. :)

Hey has anyone been using Auto Comp Pistol powder. Fired of my first batch of re loads...wow is this powder ever dirty. Any recommendations of a cleaner burning powder..Steve O

Loaded 2100 rounds of .40S&W over the last week: 3 batches using HS-6, Bullseye and Red Dot.

Also developing some cranked up loads in 10mm for the Delta Elite. Hoping to Chrony them today as well.

Yesterday...I decapped 100 .223 cases & 130 .308 cases. FL resized the .308, then neck sized, and then trimmed. The .223, I neck sized and trimmed. Then primed them all. Then charged half of the .223 for 77gr scenars and the other half for 80gr VLD's. Then seated all the bullets. I charged 50 of the .308's for 208gr ELD's. Then 50 for 155gr scenars and the last 30 for 178gr SMK's. Seated all the bullets...and now I'm ready for dmay's shoot next weekend. Only took 3-1/2 hours :)

.... Only took 3-1/2 hours :)

But it's incredibly therapeutic. I'm planning on some custom loads for my 10mm Delta that are up in the power factor originally intended for the 10mm.Going to chrony and check for pressure before I produce a larger batch though. They will be a mix of 180 & 155gr hornadys pushed by various HS-6 and 800X loads increasing in .1 gr increments.

Loading up some 9.3x62....jumped on that bandwagon thanks to member Andy and his excellent reaming of a 9.3x57 HVA '98. Metallverken brass, Speer 270gr, CCI mag primers and a healthy charge of Varget.

another 50 rounds of 308 win, 41.7 gr of 4064 hand trickled within 1 kernel under a 175 smk @ 2.840"

Match ammo's almost done, just need to fireform some brass tomorrow. So I loaded 50 more 175 smk with chargemaster throws as practice fireforming rounds.

I think I'm going to switch powders for the next match, last weekend I did a little temp sensitivity test. Loaded 3 rounds into my magazine and put it on the roof of my black car for about 10 minutes. Put the magazine in (it was burning hot BTW) took three shots and they averaged 60 FPS faster (2610) than the same rounds undercover without any solar heat gain. Surprisingly the SD and ES went down!
Looking at my logbook, my FPS on this same load was 2525 for the BCRA match in June. In July with about 10 degree warmer weather (~22C) I averaged 2550 fps. Varget or 8208 will be my next powder to try before rattlesnake's 35C heat.

Let's see... loaded 45 .284 Shehane, 40 6.5x47 and 30 6x47L. Weather looks good so going to hit up Edson, see if I can hit 1 mile.
