I finally got around to powder coating and sizing the 147gr 9mm bullets I cast this past winter, so I spent a couple of hours at the press and got 700 rounds loaded before I ran out of cleaned brass.
270 Win: 130 gr TTSX over RL17 (3100 fps)
300 WSM: 168 gr E-Tip over W760 (2950 fps)
25 WSSM: 100 gr Scirocco over RL17 (3300 fps)
45 Auto: 230 Nosler HP over Unique (850 fps)
6.5 x 55mm Swedish Mauser. Using Reloder 22 powder for the first time. Instantly impressed how nicely it dispenses using Lee Auto Drum powder measurer. Barnes 140 gr BT Match bullets. CCI primers.
Test firing produced carbon from neck down towards primer pocket. I'll take another look at crimp, maybe overall length of cartridge over the next few days. FYI - test firing was with 1901 issue M96. ✌
Hi todbartell,
I'm curious about the load and rifle.
Mind if I ask what your primary use is - target/hunting?
I'm not familiar with the rifle. Looks/sounds quite nice.

Hi isc21,
I've loaded with IMR 4350 for different cartridge. Had a heck of a time with consistent charge distribution using Lee Auto Drum.
How do you charge the powder? Any issues?

Hi 6MT,
Interesting reading all the different cartridges reloaded.
Tell me about the 6.5x47 Lapua please. What is your primary use? I know there is a strong reputation for accuracy in target shooting.
What rifle do you shoot? What is your typical target distance?
Thanks for sharing if you decide to!

loaded up some pumpkin busters. Campro and Berry's 148gr HBWC loaded backwards on top of 4gr of Bullseye. Shot out of 6" barreled 686, the Campro's consistently expanded well to make a mess of that pumpkin. The Berry's didn't always expand so sometimes just punched a small entry/exit hole.
