The "What Have You Reloaded Today" thread

400 rounds of .357 foo foo loads (3.9gr WST, 130gr LRNFP) and 400 rounds .38 Special with the same load. Time to powder coat some more of my .38's.

0.0015 off the lands.

Plus I got to try out my new lens,

Loaded up 10 rounds of 303 British
200 grain paper patch (311299?)
cast 50/50 wheelwheight and pure lead
18 grains SR4759
Federal cases
WLR primer

Had to load them up so I could shoot them in my new, to me, Ruger #1

Load was pretty mild, but the groups were kinda all over the place: my neck was hurting so I probably flinched with each jerk of the trigger. Grrrr

Last night redid the xbr 8208 ladder test. Also put together some plinking rounds. Well just using up the 3031 I have kicking around, rest is 175smk gm210m, LC brass. It preforms horribly out of my rifle, but good enough for minute of gong at 300yd.

Out of 75 throws from my chargemaster only 2 were over for xbr, and each one for 3031 was over by 0.1gr. I'm fairly happy with the results.

Loaded up 50 rounds for testing in the morning.

.30 cal. Moly Coated 185 gr. Berger Juggernaut Target bullets powered by Varget with Norma match cases and Fed 210M primers.

Everyone I know who is shooting .30 cal. 175 gr. SMKs or 178 Gr. AMAX uses 44.3 to 44.5 grs. of Varget. The 44.5 gr. weight seems to be the got to load if you do some research.

My current matchload is Moly Coated 178 gr. AMAX over 44.5 gr. Varget using a Norma match case and Fed 210M primer.
I am getting 2720 fps out of a 26.5" McPhee match barrel with a 1 in 11.3" twist.

I've been on a case prepping binge. Trimmed and prepped about 160 270 win brass tonight, another 150 to go tomorrow night to match the 350 that I did last week. That will finish off all my 270 brass so that it is set to load up on demand. Then it's on to the 300WM brass, I've already tumbled 200 or so of that, 500 pcs in total to be prepped, then on to the 6mm rem...that's what winters are for right?

I put together 50 rounds of 303 British yesterday. Just finished my load development with the old P14, and she loves the Chinchaga 175 Flat based hollow point! (6S Ogive).

I am going to try his 215 grain round noses next.

Thanks a lot,
I'll definitely do some loads with those numbers.

9mm plinking rounds
4.3 of tight group
Under a 124 plated RN
1.12OAL
Set up for 1000 rounds but only got 300 complete before I had to get on the honey do list.
Using a Lee classic cast turret press

Also tumbled 200 .45 ACP

Well....went out today and bought dies, cases and bullet puller collet for a .375 H & H

I guess I will have to find a rifle that will fit them now....lol

Been working on 45ACP for the last few days.
Have about 1500 brass tumbled, sized and primer pockets cleaned. Almost 1000 primed.

Bought a mold yesterday and need to get some bullets made before I can get any farther.

Well I "was " loading 50 rounds of 308...

But it looks like I need to go to Barton's for some large rifle primers , because some idiot at the other place gave me small rifle primers instead of the large ones I asked for

You should be double checking everything... Since reading a bunch of stories of gunshops giving wrong ammo, wrong primers etc. I triple check everything that I'm buying before I leave the store, when it comes to non-returnables like Ammo, primers and powder.
