150 Grain Accubond Long Range, In ADG Brass over IMR 8133 on top of CCI BR2 Primers. 6.5 PRC

Finished reloading a bunch of these, 150 grain cast 30-30 bullets ovsr IMR3031. Some gas checked and sized before powder coating. Some powder coated then checked and sized. Used up the last of the 2017 powder, cost $32/lb
.450 Bushmaster for a Ruger GSR
RCBS 45-405 gas checked and sized to .452 (415 grain final weight)
Loaded over IMR4198, slowly working up.
As we’re pooched for AR15’s, there is little chance these will end up chambered in one.
These are for a bolt gun only!!!
Experiment still ongoing but favourable result so far. All loads have been quite accurate.

Loaded 900 rounds of 9mm 124 grain HP over 4.0/4.1 grains of Titegroup. After that, a whole lot of trimming .223 brass. Next step is to size a whole bunch more of .223 brass that i just annealed. Keeping busy all the time! God I love Retirement!

I anti-reloaded today. The wife says I have a problem since I bought ammo, just for the brass.... for a gun I don't own. I bought this ammo at an auction and it is someone else's reloads and from the handwritten notes in the boxes it was last loaded in 1982! I pulled all the bullets, dumped the powder, and deprimed it. Most of the powder was quite reddish, and the notes in the boxes stated "powder degraded, loaded anyways". At least now if I ever buy an Arisaka in 6.5 Jap (it's on my "want" list) I'll have 75 pieces of brass and a couple projectiles to get me started
I worked on some 6.5x54 for my 1903 Mannlicher. Looking forward to getting it out when it warms up a little. - dan

Sorry, those are two I haven't played with. I would assume the low end 8x57 data would be fine for the 8x56R . I might have some data in my european load books if you like. Let me know. Today was finish up some 6.5x54 cases, and clean some 7x61 S&H, 17 Rem and 10 gauge brass shells. Incidentally, tumbler media really fills up those 17 cases, lol. - dan
Loaded 6.5 PRC shells today - RL26 and H1000 F210M sparkers ! 140 Berger Hybrid Target - Horn 143 gr ELDX - Nosler LRAB 142 gr - Berger 156 EOL and Barnes 127 LRX - Enough to give me a IDEA of what this rifle might or mighy not like ! RJ
I had a round look like a major overfill once (always look for a nominal charge before placing a bullet), and on investigation turned out to be the powder charge sitting on top of a crumpled bit of target paper inside the case. So now all the cleaned cases get examined under a good light and if I don't see the inside of the primer hole it doesn't go in the ready bin beside the press.
