The "What Have You Reloaded Today" thread

Just got my V4 auto trickler set up and loaded a few 17 hornets, 22 hornets and 204 rugers. The V4 is a pleasure to use. It replaced a tire old RCBS Powder Pro.

As you can see, i've recycled some of these boxes a few times and one DIY.
Both 8x57, the top one, 170gr sst toped up with cfe223 , a refinished 1943 varry abused rifle before I got it.
Bottom, 150gr sp, a moderate load of 4064 for a 1918 Danzig

I finally got out to try 63gr sierra and 70gr speer in my 1:14 twist 22-250
The 63 shot a .612" group at 100m 3400ft/sec
The 70gr speer shot a 1"group at 100m. 3150ft/sec. I only had one charge for the speer so should to do better with some testing. Was the slowest charge. I'll go up aroung 3300ft/sec.
I was always told that they would be too heavy.
Goes to show you just gotta try em and see if your firearm likes em.
Cheers

Messing about tumbling .223 brass and measuring different fired brass from 5 different .223's. Interestingly enough, the brass from the rifle that Bill Wylde chambered with his original Reamer is notably tighter when inserting a bullet by hand, than any of the others, 3 chambered by very gunsmiths known for building winning competition rifles , and one a factory Tikka .

I got a call from a farmer friend asking me to do a little coyote control. So I loaded up a tried and tested formula. These are 6.5CM loaded with 90gr Varmageddon bullets over 42.0gr of Varget and BR2 primers. These little devils scream at just over 3200fps. If I’m on target, the result is an almost instant drop.
