The "What Have You Reloaded Today" thread

Loaded 20 rounds of 458 win mag using 485gn cast gas check bullets on top of H4198 cotton patch and cream of wheat and cci250 primers! Velocity is 1920ish fps!

And I loaded 5 test rounds of 458 win mag 350gn tsx on top of H4198 going just around 2590fps with the same primers!!
So those TSX 350 grainer are flying well! IMG_2613.jpeg

I set up a press I bought from Dallasm today. I wanted it to be portable. I will be using it primarily for decapping but thought "Hey why not make it portable so I could take it to the range and change seating depth on the fly?"

I have a Lee set up in a tool box for similar reasons. Load development at the range. Saves a lot of driving. - dan

Tell me more about your green die block/holder in your press.. is the .223 a sticker?
or??
The tool head is from EBAY, I've bought a number of them from the same provider. This is for the modified ones that are much cheaper than anything else. Postage is a killer, so I recommend adding a spare or two for other future calibers.

The decal of the .223 Rem is an amazon order

I 3d print my own tool head holders

No replacement for displacement! Did a bunch of .338 LM, this whole retirement means I have too much time on my hands. Back to moaning on how much I spend on my hobbies........... 92 grains over a 250 grain Interlock. I took some out today and was beating up the steel gong at 650m. I have to take my camera out one of these days.

Had thunderstorms on and off today so not a great day for outside chores, so did some loading for my new-to-me Type 38 Arisaka in 6.5 Japanese. I haven't fired this gun yet, and I know loading different bullets and powders all at the same time isn't the way to go, but here we are. All loadings are using Norma brass and primed with Ginex Large Rifle Primers. Hopefully I can get out in the next few weeks to try these out

From left to right:

Herters 145gr Cast/GC (.265) over 10.0gr Alliant Unique (NOTE: This is not a published load but based on numerous different cast loadings from similar sized cases and bullets)

Hornady 160gr RN (#2640) over 33.0gr of IMR4064 (Hornady Reloading Manual [1980] shows 27.5-33.6gr)

Speer HotCor 140gr SP (#1441) over 34.0gr of IMR4064 (Lyman Reloading Manual [1967] shows 32.0-36.0gr)

PPU 139gr FMJBT over 31.2gr of IMR3031 (Lyman Reloading Manual [1967] lists this load as mimicking original military factory loading)

Just finished up some 12 ga for a few upcoming shoots. I did three and a half cases (( 35 boxes)) of 1 oz, # 8 @ 1300 fps...all Cheddite hulls (load once and toss) Using 20.3 gr of High Gun and CH 209 primers and a CB-6100-12 wad.
The HG powder is pretty dense, making the full stack height a little shy, with a slight dish in my crimps...so a cheerio popped in before the shot gives me perfect crimps !!
