The "What Have You Reloaded Today" thread

I have been loading up a bunch of 12 gauge steel shot loads.
#1, #3, and #4 shot for ducks. I also have a bunch of BBB left from last year for geese.
Most of our duck shooting is jump shooting so the 3s and 4s work well.

Some 7/8 oz No 7 1/2 12 gauge as a low recoil load for grouse. Been playing with my old Cooey 12 ga and kicks a bit hard with full house loads for my arthritic shoulder. Next up later this week is some 30-30 loads for my Savage 340

I tumbled 100 pieces of new 7RM brass and prepped, and 116 pieces of fire formed 7mm08 brass in the last 24 hours. I just returned from summer vacation and have hit the ground running. I still have over 60 pieces of brass to fire form and I'm currently working on producing a ladder chart for the 7RM using Nosler Partition 175g projectiles.

Hunting season approaches! I have a .308 Ruger American, the short heavy barreled version with the muzzle brake and I've been working up loads for it. Personally, I want to shoot sub MOA groups but I'll be happy with 1-1/8" at 100 yds. I loaded up 2 boxes of 150 gr. Nosler Ballistic Tip 20 rnds. with 47 gr. of IMR4064 and 20 rnds. with N140, both of which are proven loads. I also loaded Hornady 123 gr. SST on top of RL7 (25.5 gr) for my Howa 1500 in 7.62X39. In both my Howa and my brother's CZ those rounds print sub MOA. On an embarrassing note, I loaded 20 rnds. with large pistol primers before I caught the error. I broke down and bought an RCBS collet style bullet puller. OMG! What a delightful piece of kit! It made disassembling the rounds dead easy, much easier than the hammer style kinetic bullet pullers and much easier recovering the components.

I am at the tail end of priming approximately 1000 .223 Remington (Winchester headstamp) casings.

I finally used up the last of my WC-735 powder (I purchased a very large amount years ago from Higginson) and need to do load development with H335 for next year's spring prairie dog shooting trip. I have a couple thousand more brass to prep but like doing it in batches to break it up a bit.1000022267.jpg

I feel that. Had all my 223 separated by manufacturers. Large amounts (Rem, Win, military) went into 5 gallon pails, rest in gallon coffee cans. So every once in a while I get energetic and process a few hundred at a time. - dan

Resizing a bunch of Hornady 6mm Creedmoor this morning, they'll see D4350ssc and 108gr ELDm

Next up tonight is annealing Alpha 6.5 Creedmoor brass, resizing and H4350 / 140gr ELDm. If I have time it'll be annealing Hornady 22 ARC, sizing and N550 / 88gr ELDm. I'd like to get these all on paper tomorrow and do some shooting at distance before a local match in early November

Starline 30-06 brass, Remington large rifle primers, Barnes 175gr LRX and 46.5 grains Varget.

Mild shooting, quite accurate, and although this is hardly a real test, did well on an unusually large bodied 4 point whitetail the other day. I like it. Think its gonna be my "do all" hunting round, even though I am not a big 30-06 guy

(Used it plenty, it certainly works, just find other things more interesting. Cannot argue with success, availability, etc etc)

Starline 6.5 Creedmoor brass, Remington large rifle primers, Hornady 140gr ECX, 39.3 gr H4350

Yup that bullet has the BC of AAA batteries, but its another accurate one for me and its epanding well in test media here at 100 and 200 yards.

It the range today with my 257 AI and I’m Loretta please with the shooting, 6 shot group, 2 different loads 2 different bullets similar point of impact and both under an inch at 100m.

Got some of those Peterson long 300 WM cases when x-reload had their sale on. Prepped everything today to try two ladders using N560 and 185 gr target bullets - Lapua D46 and Berger Juggernaut. Had been a bit disappointed with Berger 200.20X / H1000 / Hornady brass (2nd firing) out of this rifle. Will see how things go next weekend!

Actually, loaded last Thursday, 40x 9.3x62 with Speer 270 gr, and 20x 458 Win Mag with 400gr Barnes SSP’s. All for bear over bait, after zeroing a new scope.

A few hundred 9mm with 115 campro and bullseye ( my wife keeps shooting them as fast as I load em lol)

Almost time to open my last lb of bullseye
And now that its unobtainium may have to branch out to other powders.
