The "What Have You Reloaded Today" thread

Not reloaded yet, but cleaned in FA steel pin tumbler, FL sized, belled out the mouth a bit, inside mouth chamfered 52 32 Winchester Special cases. Waiting for shipment of Primer Pocket swage kit from Higginsons. Hope it will work to make using Ginex LR primers easier to install. Also have a new LEE hand primer coming, plus a case to hold it and the shell holders.

Some Dominion, some Imperial, and a few DCCo brass. Maybe a few Winchester as well. I won't be taking my 32's to the Olympics, so a mix of brass will have to do for killing rock, along with a dose 0f Ammomart 44 and PC'd cast bullets.
I load that sometimes for an old friend of mine. Easy cartridge to work with. Brass is sometimes difficult to get though. - dan

Yes. Nice old cartridge. I've gathered enough to do me, plus it is easily made from 30-30. I actually smoked a few whitetail with my old carbine. I also have a 1918 rifle in 32WS. It has a tang peep. Great old rifle to shoot!

Loaded up some 223, Hornady 55 gr SP, dominion primers, Norc brass H335 powder.

Found out it doesn't like -18°C lol hangfires galore. Fired off two of the lower loadings then jumped straight to the max load I had. Still had one of five with a hangfire. Noticeable delay between primer and cartridge detonation.
Luckily I had some 223 with D4064 powder to shoot. I should probably try some dacron, but I think I will shoot the remainder in the summer.

Did up a little loading powder test for imr 4895 and horn 150gr sp 7.62x54. 2 mosins getting the nod tomorrow. Sniper repo and m38.
500gr campro in sharps 45-70 also came off the desk with some imr 4198.

223rem the last few days
56 sierra 62gr gameking
50 nosler 55gr ballistic tip
30 sierra 65gr gameking.
Too cold to shoot so I'm trying to make 50-100rnds a day during my time off.
357mag today

Picked up some power pro 4000mr on auction to try out. Looks like it should would work well in 6.5 creed, 280ai, 22-250 ai, and 300wsm. Going to load wsm first with 200 gr eldx but realized I dont have a shell holder for it so off to bass pro this am.

Got some 257 wby. 117gr sst's loaded up with staball HD, got great accuracy at 73gr, seeing what I can get beyond that? Bought a bull barreled Voere in 6.5 swede, loaded up some 140gr matchburners, looking forward to that one. Also have an old Husky FN mauser in 30/06, put an aluminum bedded Houge stock on it, we'll see how it shoots the 178gr ELDX's. It's been months since I've been able to get to the range for some trigger time, should be nice and quiet this time of year!

Happy Holidays to everyone!!!🥳

Finally got out yesterday and here are the results (I dropped the 71.20 gr group in the top-right corner down one since the 70.80 gr group shifted into the intended target). A bit all over the place (fingers were getting a bit numb in the cold, so maybe not the best shooting!) but it looks like the 71.20 gr charges worked best for both bullets. Five-round samples for each, seated 0.002 off lands at 188 yds (actual distance of 200 yd range at Silverdale). For the Lapuas, Avg Vel was 2,882.4, ES 22.7 and SD 9.4. For the Bergers, Avg Vel was 2891.5, ES 15.1 and SD 6.4. Will probably try to refine around those nodes and then maybe try modifying the bullet seating. The next groups might be a bit better as well now that the brass has been fired. . . .

Can you please tell me where you purchased your 300 Peterson Long brass ?
Have Been looking for long Peterson brass in 7mm .

Over the Christmas break, I fired up the Master Caster and did about 1600 147gr. 9mm bullets. This Friday and Saturday I powder coated and sized them.

Today, I sat down and loaded 1300 rounds of 9mm. That should do me for most of the summer.
