I voted no, I ignored your bracketed info cause that is just ridiculous, I love the zombie thing, but I will not ever own a mossberg chainsaw POS shotgun, or the abomination of a tactical lever action, and my AR15 will never wear a "zombie spike" muzzle break, some if it is just silly, but if you don't go over the top with it, it can be "cool" that is my opinion.
I am workin on getting one of each of the Hornady Zombie max ammo starting in the calibers I shoot, the box art is awesome and it's good to have... just in case.

derick dodge in edmonton had a call of duty ram 1500 so I imagine that there will be zombie edition trucks and s**t soon too.

You can also get a call of duty jeep.... soo ###... I was shopping for a jeep and that pretty much turned me away from them (mini van engine also)... I picked up a FJ cruiser.

I like zombies...but only when I'm running a slide fire stock...by the way, are these allowed here? (it's Thursday don't you know...:D)

Where's vampire gear? No I don't want guns that sparkle. I mean some Gothic red and black guns. Sweeeet

I got some Winchester Silvertips I'm saving for a rainy day. Or am I thinking werewolves ?

In the back of our mind, as shooters, I'm sure we all take solace in the fact that if something like zombies did happen, we'd MAYBE stand a chance.
Otherwise, I like the idea that I could win a gun fight against most of my friends. Especially since most of my friends are Call of Duty geeks, can frag n00b like a pro, and have heard of all our gun, but never actually seen one in person.

Then there is the more secret interpretation of zombies. Some will talk about stocking up for zombies, but are really thinking SHTF.

Realistically, stock up all you want, when you have to be on the move, you won't be able to take even a fraction of your arsenal with you.

I can't afford to stock up. So, I stock up on SKILLS. There will be a lot of battlefield pickup I'm sure. Will you know how to use that Enfield that dead Fudd over there dropped when you run out of what little ammo you could actually carry, or are you dependent on Eotech and Magpul ?

The streets are jammed, there is no using the road, and your wicked lifted truck is too big for that bush trail which is the only way to get cross town to safety. There's a motorcycle, can you handle that off road ? I've actually made a point to learn how to ride a dirt bike over a variety or terrain, kind of proud of that.

You know what's funny. Handing one of your gamer geek friends a 12lb loadout, and tell them to run a couple laps around the range, then try to even hit the target.

Until we see one of the big three comes out with a Bio Hazard edition SUV, there is still plenty of life left in the zombie trend.

I've been hating this zombie s**t for years now. Please f**king stop encouraging these companies jumping on a lame ass bandwagon and trying to make a quick buck with this zombie crap by buying their stupid and ugly items.

Honestly, every time I see someone at the range with "zombie slayer" or "anti-zombie force" or whatever t-shirts it makes me want to kill myself.

I voted no .. When I came ho e ton ight I had a he dache and a fever and was ble ding from my eyes .. I am having a hard ti e type ng this as after the pa n went away I ate my le t hand........ But I real y wa t brains !!!!

Exactly! This is why I plan to stay put as long as possible and if I have to move I will be carrying a fudd gun and each member of my family will be carrying 22lr. We will each be able to carry 1000 rounds of 22lr (~7 pounds) and I will carry what I can for the fudd rifle plus food and water. There's 4 of us so we should be able to bring 4000 rounds 22lr and a couple hundred cartridges for the fudd rifle.

Hopefully that will be enough for defense and foraging. I figure its a better than average plan in a SHTF scenario.

now if only leupold would make the vx-r 1.25-4 scope normally with the green dot available instead of only in that zombie package with all that ugly marking

Then do it? Clearly you are unable to have fun Mr. Super Serious, sir!!!

What about all those old farts who pretend to play cowboys who shoot mouse fart loads that can barely punch through cardboard...probably hate them too guys cause its not "real" enough for you folk.

Yeah, but at least they have style. Style goes a long way...

Showing up at a range with your 'Team Zombie' optic and trailing your Mossberg pump-chainsaw 'Zombie Slayer' is just another way of announcing that you tried out for and failed the Special Olympics. ;)

I really should've made this poll public, because it would've been absolutely hilarious seeing who voted "no".

I don't have a zombie slayer shirt or any gun stuff...really has anyone here expect that knife mod guy bought a mossy chainsaw? I watch the walking dead and have a dawn of the dead poster. Is that okay to you?

I am just someone who doesn't need to make daily polls insulting people for whatever fun they like to have, guns they buy and so on.

I don't buy the guns cause to me having a gun with "zombie slayer" looks a little tacky and its not like my gun without that on it will not kill them...(IF it was to happen...and I know, zombies are not real, max brooks is a fagg, GLOCK RULZ and so on....)

I know 5 kids who got into real guns, not airsoft cause they thought the zombie thing was cool. Now they are a bit more serious and more "normal" with their gun stuff.

If it gets more people involved...then what is the harm?
