Chemist, three questions on the ACR:
1. Does it come configured as show, ie: folding/collapsible stock and aluminium tri-rail?
2. MBUS Gen1 or Gen2?
3. Are these the new lighter Bushmaster barrels or still the original heavier ones?
And I assume it's black only?

Can you find out about the barrels? It's fairly important as the new ones don't have the M4 profile and are apparently quite a bit lighter. What's the availability on different barrel assemblies? (Bushmaster lists a 10.5", 14.5" and 18.5" in addition to the 16.5")
Its possible that our new non-res black rifle has just been approved and will be shipping to dealers for official release.

Why are you so easily offended?
Ryan is going to bring things in that he thinks he can sell for a profit. That's the way private business works.
It's not something that I would normally consider, that's all.

Yay! More more restricted AR's and AR variants that suck so bad even the Americans won't buy them, we can't shoot anywhere other than a range and they cost thousands of dollars.
Just what we needed.

The results have been hit-and-miss on the aftermarket barrels; I'd be more excited about the factory 18.5" light profile version.

The only 18.5" ACR barrels are currently aftermarket, unless they've started shipping them in a configuration other than the 16.5"...

Why does the ACR use a M4 barrel profile?
Is it because everybody is going to use grenade launchers on their ACR, or is it because Bushmaster had a bunch of M4 barrels left over and chose to "re-use" those on the ACR?
I don't even think a grenade launcher would fit on the ACR, never-mind the fact that almost nobody is going to use one even if it did.
There is probably ZERO reason why bushmaster couldn't make a run of 18.5" barrels, and for that reason alone I'll pass.
