Thinking about a pistol cartridge carbine (non-restricted).

Here is mine. ATI stock, bbl shroud and extended basepads on the mags so you can actually seat them properly... Oh and a cheapo red dot on top. It will be getting scope on it though soonish....

group at 100 yards with the red dot... dot covers the entire target at that distance, hence why it's getting a scope soon.

how much are they and are they reliable?
 
about $375ish brand new (plus tax and shipping). Epps has them. I bought mine used and it already had the ATI stock on it.Not sure how much the stock actually costs.....

And yes very reliable. I got about 400+ rounds down the tube (unknown count from the previsouse owner) and not 1 single problem. they were all fired in the same outing. Then my range got shut down, so I haven't been able to take her out again... sad I know. But not 1 lick of problems. Hopefully my raneg will get opened back up next week and I'll be able to try her out a little more.
 
I bought myself a CX4 in 40 S&W and never looked back. In a way I kinda like how it doesn't come factory non-res, to me it makes it more "rare" when I'm out shooting gophers with the boys, but just my opinion. About 1000 rds and never an issue :)

Hi-point carbines are restricted due to barrel length, OP was looking for non-restricted
 
Holy smokes that is a fantastic price. I didn't realize you can get a reliable Pcc for that price. Thanks for the info :) They look quite nice too, unlike their pistols. I'll have to research how much it would cost to rebarrel to NR.

Wow that is a PIMPED out sub 2000. It looks hot. I have ran one of them at the club and did not find it to be very accurate, it could have been a number of factors. I suspect the sites. I like the fact the the Thureon takes a bunch of standard AR parts. Theses decisions are hard, it would be easier if I had the bread to just buy one of each.
 
I have a Sub2000 Glock mag version and love it. I have around 1000 rounds through it and other than a couple stovepipes it has been trouble free. It is really light and is pretty accurate. I love that I can fold it and carry it in a backpack and no one knows I have a rifle on me.
I wouldn't hesitate to buy it if I had it to do over again knowing what I know now about it.

I just bought a used TDI Vector (non-restricted) and while it is a little more than you want to spend it is definitely built well and worth the money in my opinion. I haven't put many rounds down the tube so I can't say much for reliability yet but I like what I see so far.

I think my Sub2000 may see a lot less use now that I have the Vector.
Just need to develop a nice handload for it and it will be my new go to fun toy for playing away from the range.

no last shot hold open so unless you count (and i dont) it will dry fire after the last shot, and i have over 5000 rds through mine. do the math aprox 500 dry fires no probs. will take most ar aftermarket parts , very easy to pearsonalize. ps its becomming my favorite plinker
