This is exciting news for M14 lovers

Jerry, could you inquire if they would make a Rem870 footprint version? I would imagine they could sell as many if not a lot more if they catered to the bolt gun market. Regardless it's nice to see a sensibly priced rifle stock for a change.

A JAE style stock for the 870? Doubt it.

there are lots of stocks for the 870 with AR style furniture. Let me know what you are looking for.

Promag, Tacstar, Pachmyr and others are on the list but I am not into SG's and have no time to update my website.

Let me know...

Felix, sorry, Uncle Sam no likie export....

But I can sell you an MDT chassis no problem at all....

Crap man  I meant Rem 700, dolt!

Nothing planned as far as I know.

But given how many of these kits they are going to sell, it wouldn't surprise me if they cloned everything/anything

For the Rem, I would bet a McM A5 clone would be a good first stock, bottom metal latch and all.

They will be released later and I have received no info at this time.

But I will have them if/when they are released. If you would like to place a preorder, let me know.

Sorry, no pricing info but given that these other stocks are right at US MSRP, I can only assume the Spartan will be the same.

Jerry

Can't wait for more informations and pictures.... :( I was ready to order a JAE stock or buy a used one!

I don't know anymore... lol

Yah looks like a nice copy of a JAE by Archangle, what do you wanna bet it just wont be the same quality wise. If you have ever used or held a JAE M14 stock you immediately have some idea why the price is what it is, it's still hard to justify but it is the best of the best. Hey if they can pull of quality for a far more realistic price they might just kick JAE in the ass with this one.

Cheers,
Evan

I'm looking forward to a review of this stock once someone (ahem... Jerry) has an M14 mounted in it. I am skeptical simply because of the very low price (if something sounds too good to be true....)

Hopefully it turns out to be an exceptional buy and the quality is there. I've got an M14 waiting for a stock to be put into, so hopefully this bad boy steps up and performs.

Of course it would be silly to expect the same quality. That being said, its still quite a difference in prices. About 6 times less expensive.

Are you guys ready to bet it will not be 6 times less in terms of quality? :)

The JAE is aluminum chassis covered with a hardcore type material and quality rubber parts with rock solid metal-to-metal fit between the action and stock bedding, Ill bet this one is less then six times the quality. A USGI fiberglass stock for even cheaper is a better way to go for people like me who can't afford a JAE, that's just me I've never been found of plastic based products.
Cheers,
Evan

I've placed my name on the dealer list for the promag units and will be recieving one to evaluate, test bedding capabilities.... and then I will be shooting the crap out of it and providing Jerry with a full review of my findings. I'll post that info on CGN as well.

to expect this polymer based stock to be anything even close to a JAE aluminum or titanium chassis stock, other than appearance and feel is just not realistic. This is reflected in the massive price difference between the two.

That is excellent news Thomas; I should have known that you would be at the front of the line ready to test these things out and provide us with your findings. I look forward to your evaluation of this product.

I for one certainly don't expect this thing to equal the JAE stocks, I am just curious as to quality over all. Looks are great and all, but if the product cannot stand usage or endure a few hunting trips; then it is not worth owning. I place my trust in guys who know, and who have evaluated the M14 in more than a few stocks, to provide the information required to decide on purchasing or passing. ;)
