This is exciting news for M14 lovers

It will be nice if we can get these at a decent price. Not everyone can afford a Troy or Sage stock if they want something considerably different from the standard.

hopefully by end of summer i'll be blowing you rem700 owners away with the new ICRW bolt rifle hunting stocks in carbon fiber/composite :D

The reviewer moved so slowly it was painfull, but I think that stock would do as well as the synthetic original with the addition of the pistol grip, adjustable cheek piece, and lower fore end rail that I need.
 
Is that rail made out of plastic???
How about the front of the stock were the front band connects to. Is that plastic also?
I really like the rear of the stock but something about plastic, heat and violent metal bashing just don't seem to breed confidence in me. Although I could be wrong.

The rail is part of the mold by the looks of it and as far as heat goes I don't think it will be a problem for most of us.

I guess if you've got a problem with the plastic rail you could mill it off and replace it with metal but I would be tempted to wait for the plastic to fail before any modifications.

This stock looks like a winner for the average shooter looking for better ergonomics for the Norinco's. Even if it needs some tweaking it's a pretty good start!
