This is why people hate hunters..

Yet another thread on the mighty Interweb where hunters freely bash other hunters for not doing things "their" way. Some days I wonder why the antis work so hard when hunters are quite willing to do it for them?

yes I agree.

those that want to sermonize others on the 'proper way' to hunt need to crack open the hunting regulations read them and shut up.

If its legal then its the proper way, anything else in just their opinion.

as for the old days using old beatup 4x4 trucks to drive cutlines and roads while drinking whiskey and using spotlights was a lot of fun but really not acceptable behavior anymore.

I remember using snowmobiles on the grass to recover animals, and once the snow was on the ground hunting was done from the machine. Some more enterprising hunters used smaller farm tractors in the bush or home built off road machines. Quads just make it easier now, and safer.

One of my hunting partners down south would never be able to pack out a deer let alone a moose or elk due to a work accident we help him pack his animal to the ATV and help load it into the truck it's the right thing to do
I remember as a kid me and my uncles jumping in to help other Hunters packing a moose out it was just the proper thing to do and we had other hunters stop hunting and help us as well
It's still like that Sumtimes but it's becoming rare Thing

No kidding.

I'm just happy now when someone acknowledges that I held the door for them, let alone ask them to hold it for me.
