And after losing one field the evening before the hunt because the landowner was moving bales, and my backup field because the geese just didn't show up last night, I had about 30 minutes before dark to find anther field. I was five minutes from town, and had pretty much given up, when I found a field full of Canada geese along the highway. Fortunately the landowner lived nearby and was working in the yard, and I had permission 15 minutes later, in time to have another look at the field to plan the morning hunt. The last minute scramble paid off with twenty three Canadas, and four white fronted geese.

On a slightly differant note there has been a sighting or three of a King Eider in the Tsawwassen area this past week and I got to see it.
Didnt need the 3000k Swaro some of the Bird Watchers where packing around either .

I'm confused, 80/8=10, is it not well over the bag limit?
and in some other post the same...
my bad, didn't know about these 'hunters' heavens', makes me feel like moving. He didn't state which province they were hunting in. Some provinces allow 50 snow geese per day.
