So, all my rimfires have been bolt actions up until now. I've always been an accuracy over volume type of shooter and see no attraction in a 10/22 at all. A couple of weeks ago I bought a 22/45 off the EE for cheap handgun practice (I need lots of practice...
). I got it on tuesday and got out to the range yesterday to test drive it and another new pistol I got a couple of weeks ago. The Ruger was a blast! I put well over 300 rounds through it and had a great time. It is very accurate and I shot it very well. It rained for a while, so we stayed in the shack and shot at balloons from 25yds and I had no problem hitting them regularly. Shot one ~6" group from 25yds off hand as well.
Only problem is I am going to need to buy stock in Winchester at the rate I was burning up the Dynapoints. I see trouble on the horizon...
