Those were the days, my friend......

Some more old memories.

There has never been a cleaner burning primer ever produced. Just a tiny smudge of grey, no grit at all, in the primer pocket.

These still produce loads with less than 10 fps extreme spread.

Ted; I couldn't agree more!! Very clean and consistent.
I have just over 1K each of the 8½ and the 8½M.
Save them for special loads. [Like in my custom 308 Norma Mag. :)
Regards, Dave.

Good post Ted and components like that bring back memories of my early reloading days.

Sent this picture to Boomer earlier today. Got to thinking that it might be nice if we all shared a bit of our personal experience from "back then". Here's one of mine.

Was guiding the chairman of the board of Mobil Oil on a sheep hunt, about ten miles off Kluane Lake in the Ruby Range in 1973. He shot a huge, broomed-off old ram after a snow storm. He was a fine guy, and we stayed in touch for a long time.

Those were the days..........

Looking forward to seeing some of yours,
Ted

ya look like grizzley adams!
