I just listen to what he has to say, and then add "If you'd just learn to shoot what you have, you wouldn't need excuses why you missed with your latest $2000 rig."

So I beginning to think the cartridge is great but the guns aren't.
My cousin got a Browning A-Bolt with the Boss in 223 WSSM and it shoots crazy awesome! Took a crow just under 300 yds of the roof of my car with a 3200 3-9X50. I could barely see it but the "bang" and "poof" of feather seemed to happen at the same time. Very cool!!!
SOOOOO, I went and got a Win 70 Super Shadow in 223 WSSM. I've had it since October and have put about 300 rounds through it. I've had 2 different scopes on it and have tried many, many different loads with 3 different powders and 50 - 70 gr bullets in it. The best I've come up with is JUST around one inch group once on a windy day. It seems to heat up quickly as the barrel is very light. Yesterday again I got about four 2.5 to 3 inch groups.
I believe in the cartridge, my gun bites! I've loaded up some 68gr Hornady Match HPBT in .5 gr increments from min to max of H380. I'm going to try these and if I can't get sub 1" at 100m, I'm going to contact SIR or Winchester and return it. (I can be quite stubborn!)
HELP!?
Please PM me with any advice.
A final note: I've heard a few guys on WSSM Zone say that Browning replaced their Super Shadow Winchesters with A-Bolts. Perhaps, they will do the same for me?
