Thoughts on a Taurus 9mm

Don't do it, parts are WAY to hard to get. Also Nichols, nice people but even they say they can't support the product and they're the official Canadian support.

That's cool if Roy got a good one, and maybe some are ok but I've heard that they can be a problem. Like the M&P, the firing pins have a tendency to stick in the extended position. If price is a factor and you're gonna take a chance on something, go with the M&P and you'll have a way easier time getting parts and service. If you can handle a function over fashion pistol, and it's comfortable, the Glock 17 won't cost you much more than the Taurus either. I don't own a Taurus so who knows, could just be viscious rumors. Good Luck

thanx for the info guys, i was origanly looking at the glock 17's but saw this and just wasnt sure. i think ill hold out for a glock!

I still don't know what gun this thread is about...

24/7? PT92/99? Taurus makes at least a dozen of other 9mm models that aren't availabe here...

I prefer M&P over 24/7 but it's just a personal preference....PT92 is a good, reliable gun.
