Thoughts on how IPSC works

I took the black badge course, stupid range rules for using a holster or doing anything other than line shooting! *gurrrr* Never ran a full match so don't have a black badge - but IPSC as an org and sport drives me crazy. I wish there were more alternatives in the great white north, at least in the west.

Sure does, I've done club matches and it's also a spectator sport ... so yeah, my opinion stands.

There's lots of choices. Steel Challenge, IDPA, 3Gun, Cowboy Action Shooting as well as lots of clubs running their own style matches.
