Looking for opinions on the T3 stainless synthetic (LH) in .308. How do they shoot. I'm looking for an all weather LH bolt gun that shoots well to 600M if I do my part. Any info and opinions would be appreciated :)
Thanks.

I had one in .308 that shot moa or better all the time, with any ammo. The only reason I sold it, was to get a Sako finnlight in .308.

I have a Tikka T3 Lite in .308, albeit blue RH, I just bought and really really like it.

2 things to consider:
1. If you intend to put on a bipod, do yourself a favor and buy a screw & nut front swivel stud and put it in - the factory pulled out of the synthetic fairly easy.
2. Additional mags are quite expensive. They are plastic but so far seem to be durable.

YMMV.

yes, I mounted a bipod and it stript it. I was pretty disapointed. The mags are very, very tough... dont know why they are so expensive though.

Strongly recommend Leupold rings if you can get them. Leupold torx screws make a lot of sense and I have had no problems with unlike the hex screws on other makes. I have an Elite 3200 on my T3. Overall, very happy with the set up. :agree:

Mounting Optics

Now I just need to figure out the mount and optics. Looking forward to getting this puppy. There's a moose waiting for her somewhere.

I went with a Near Mfg 20 moa base, with a pair of TPS rings, rock solid! but pretty expensive.
