I'm planning on using a Smith and Wesson M&P40,with a bladetech holster and two double mag pouches and a 1.5" belt....is this a good setup? I also have a Cz75 SP-01 and a Steyr M9-A1 but i don't have any holsters, any mag pouches or any extra mags for those two, so i won't be using them for my BB course. What are the most common things people get DQ for? Also a fellow at my range was telling me that the ammo that i normally shoot with, will not pass the chrono(federal 165grain FMJ ball). So what do i need for ammunition to shoot ipsc? Thanks a million everyone
Stop whoring about getting DQed. You are looking at from the wrong aspect, You are focusing on getting DQed. That is wrong. Focus on being safe there is a difference. Focus on finger control ( keeping it out of the trigger guard when moving ) focus on muzzle control focus on shot placement , smooth draws. Focus on positive aspect's of the game not the negative. If you look at it this way you will go alot farther and not to mention have more Fun .
As for ammo you will learn all about that in your B/B coarse.
See you have already learned a lesson in taking advice from other people. Some people will give you the wrong advice thinking it is the wright advice, the key is to learn the difference. It is a trial and aerier.
Do not be afraid to experiment that is what this game is all about.
Just my 2 cents
