Titegroup Replacement

Stick with TG, it's hard to beat in both value and performance.

P.S. You'll spill more with powders that take up more case volume.

Sorry for being simple but could you not just be easier on the handle..? I too have a 650 and after a 5000 round run I doubt there is more than a few loads worth of powder spilled. Titegroup is hard to beat since it can be bought for less than nearly anything else similar. It meters well and produces adequate velocity for most uses.

231 will burn clean if shot at full pressure. If you make a mild load with it, it does not burn as cleanly.

Try N320. You will like it.

I suspect I will like it. Only issue now is that I went to where I figured I'd buy it (Tenda - free shipping on $300+ orders) and they have a ~$50 hazardous shipping fee to transport it.

It was already pretty expensive but this is making it ridiculous. Anyone know if Vihtavuori is available in the Okanagan area?

You need to set up your shellplate so it drags just a bit, that way you shouldn't get any powder spillage.

Tried that, dragging does counteract spillage but it also stops the primers from lining up with the case as the shell plate is too tight to naturally let it settle in the middle.

No free lunch unfortunately.

Del Selin in Vernon does not carry it. Not sure about Vernon Cambodian Tire, you'd have to talk to Brandon or Matt there. They have a surprisingly large reloading section.

Henry @ Budget Shooter Supply in Surrey does sell it, no Hazmat fee. Awesome vendor to deal with.

Henry is going to SHOT so won't be shipping until he gets back.

I do try to regulate force and speed on the handle which helps for sure. Even with that though I still get a little (and it is a little).

I keep my left hand near the shell plate, and on the down stroke of the ram I put a finger on one case to guide/cushion it into its next index position. This prevents powder from spilling.

Thanks for the link.

N320 is pricey - from my quick math it comes in around double the price of Titegroup.

Tends has it for a little under $50 per lb

Plus $50 hazmat fee to ship......

Tenda was getting the order (free shipping over $300) until I noticed that.

Ive bought a ton of reloading supplies off them this year already.
