'morning all,
Looking at what's out there to mount on the willies and these TNW re-works are quite intriguing.
I know that there are several 1919s around, as well as the MG34s, but does anyone know if any of the M2HBs made it across?
I think that John from Marstar mentioned there were only 10 of the M2s brought in to Canada. I seem to recall there were only three showing in that online copy of the registry, so one has to wonder if the rest went back to the US.'morning all,

Deactivation nullifies requirement to be registered. Look how many dewat's are for sale on here and other places.

There are several that I am working on along with a friend. There is a 1945 MB to kit out, a 1951 M38, and an Iltis. I figure the M2HB or the 1919a6 would be quite appropriate on the M38, and the 1919a4 would go onto the '45 MB.
Ideas?
CGN member Wilke had a dewat 30 listed but it apears to be gone now
Now if only I could find a Sherman or half track for my 50
lol
check out http://www.iracinc.us/ they're not real.... but they're friggin' cool! and they actually fire
hmm that's interesting... Wish there was a little more information about them on the site. Does anyone know what the legal status of those would be up here? Are they good to go or would they be classed as illegal "replicas"?
REALLY like the flag in the second photo.
Means a lot more to some of us than that Liberal-Party-red-only.
And here's a point: how did they even get away with it? We KNOW that the Libs don't give a counterfeit farthing about what the Canadian people want, but HOW did they get that mess of a flag through the College of Heralds? RED is a CLOTH colour and WHITE is a METAL colour. The flag-thingie has a red design on a white backgound.... and it is against the laws of heraldry to have a METAL carrying a CLOTH. Other way around is fine, but not the way they are doing it.
Oh well: the Communist Party of Canada approved it, so Pearson and the Liberals voted it in. The entire "flag debate" was a sham. I was working for CP Air at the time and we knew what the new flag was going to be even before it was introduced in Parliament. All we had to do was look across the tarmac and there it was, red stylised maple leaf on a white ground, 25 feet high, taking up the whole tail-end of Air Canada's DC-8s.
To some of us, that whole thing still rankles.
This might not be the place for it, but just remember: it was brought to you by the same people who brought you C-68 and a whole bunch of Orders-in-Council which have very nearly killed our hobby........ right after they promised they wouldn't do it. LIARS! We get one minute every 4 or 5 years to say what we think of them. There will be an election coming up in the next year or so. Make YOUR vote count.
Do it right and we might even be able, some day, to play with the fun toys again.
