What is the consensus on the Paddle vs Belt Holsters for Competition purpose.

The Paddle looks annoying - does it tuck in between your gonch and your pants?

Let me have it!

The only advantage to a paddle holster is that you can remove it without taking off your belt. I have used both styles and I much prefer a belt holster. There are lots of great options available but I usually recommend Blade-Tech products.

I have a Blackhawk CQC that I use for IDPA and it's set up with the paddle. No problems with it.

The paddle goes over the belt and behind the trousers and then locks under the belt.

I have a Blackhawk paddle holster for my Glock, and its fantastic. It feels alot more secure than previous Fobus holsters I have owned. I prefer paddle holsters because of their simplicity and ease of use. Just tuck the paddle in and go. But then again, I'm no top gun ;)
