To Paddle or not to Paddle

What is the consensus on the Paddle vs Belt Holsters for Competition purpose.

The Paddle looks annoying - does it tuck in between your gonch and your pants?

The only advantage to a paddle holster is that you can remove it without taking off your belt. I have used both styles and I much prefer a belt holster. There are lots of great options available but I usually recommend Blade-Tech products.

The IWB holster conceals better. I prefer to draw from a belt-type.

I have a Blackhawk CQC that I use for IDPA and it's set up with the paddle. No problems with it.

The paddle goes over the belt and behind the trousers and then locks under the belt.

If you get the Blackhawk unit, you get your choice of either as both attachments are included.

I have a Blackhawk paddle holster for my Glock, and its fantastic. It feels alot more secure than previous Fobus holsters I have owned. I prefer paddle holsters because of their simplicity and ease of use. Just tuck the paddle in and go. But then again, I'm no top gun
