Tokarev TT-33 ordered from Kelly's Sporting Goods

I got to shoot my Kelly's Tok today. Used the S&B steel core ammo from Marstar. Only fired one mag. 100% function.

Accuracy was excellent. It shot to the left. That is typical of my results with new guns. I will move the rear sight a bit.

Two hands at 20 yards.

Provided that it can be repeated, I have to say that is excellent shooting for a TT-33 (and the shooter of course!).

This was not the first time I shot one of these Polish TTs. A Club member had one on the range two weeks ago, and I tried his. At 25 yards I was impressed with the trigger and accuracy.

This was 5 yards further than the mag I shot with my pistol, so I would say accuracy is about the same. If these two are a fair sample, we have outstanding pistols with the Polish TT-33. I am not fussed that my groups go left. That is typical of my guns until I drift the rear sight.

First one arrived 2 weeks and has about 250 rounds through. Flawless function until the last couple of mags which had a couple rounds that the slide failed to fully return to battery on a chambered round. Suspect may not have lubed the slide well enough after previous cleaning? Second one should arrive next week :)
My accuracy results and trigger similar to Ganderite's, other than he's a better shot.

I drifted the sight quite a bit and fired another 20 yard group. Just about bang on. I will drift it just a tad more and call it done. Main thing is that accuracy is very good and 100% function. It is not unusual for a new gun to need a few 100 rounds to break in, but this one is 100% from the first mag. Should have bought 2 of them.

Looks nice. It looks in the photos like it has a kind of a brown patina on some parts of the metal and at some of the joints. Mine looks similar. I wonder if it's the way they're blued?

I noticed that as well when it was in the bright sunlight. I assumed it still has some of the packing oil/grease still embedded in the metal. The more I cleaned with Frog Lube, the more brown would come out of the metal. I finally gave up for the time being, and will continue at a later date. I can't get over how small it feels, almost like a rimfire pistol.

Finally got my Kelly's Tok to the range. 200+ rds downrange, flawless operation, not one single failure of any kind. Shoots a little to the left, but some of that is me, I know.

So happy with this gun! Thanks Messrs Kelly!

Yes, and it still packs a big punch.

I just Chronyed soem S&B milsrp ammo.

Steel core 1550 fps
lead core 1510 fps. This is energy similar to a 45ACP.

I am surprised someone has not figured out how to cut an inch off the end of the frame and fit a new style bushing. It would make a nice 4.2" Commander sized gun.

Glad to hear things are good with the TT-33's from Kelly's. I am waiting to do my CSSA handgun course and then getting my ATT. Mine wasn't pristine sadly as it had two shine marks on the right side of the slide. They are quite noticeable, almost like it was rubbing in the crate and the coating came off the gun. Does anyone know a way to correct this?

touch up blueing should take care of it nicely.
