Top of the Line scopes

I would like to add my two cents for whatever it is worth. Anyone and I mean anyone who would even consider a KING optics scope should seriously have their head examined. Having been personally burned by this brand and absolutely NO satisfaction in the way of warranty or at the very least apology. The clarity is absolute S*** and overall finish rates somewhere between a childs fisher price and some kind of chinese crap knockoff, stay away just stay far far away.

Gotta give a checkmark to the European glass, high quality manufacturing and clarity, all you need to do is look through one.
My personal experience is with Zeiss, after trying many other domestics I finally tried one and now will not go back to N.American glass. you will be pleased with them. Price , well you can find a Hendsolt for up to $11,000 or a Conquest 3-9 x 40 for $400. Either way they are quality and the others made in Europe are very good also.

Have you tried Corlanes in Dawson Creek? I was there a week ago and there was a huskemaw book on Rods desk.
Yes they sell alot of Huskemaw scopes. I'm shooting one right now on one of Rods new bench guns. I wouldn't say that it is as clear as my Zeiss scopes but it is far superior to the likes of Bushnell. Scope does what they claim and works well as far as I can see.

When it comes to optics I'm as picky as they come. Been through most of the top-end stuff......after many many thousands of dollars spent on optics, I now exclusively use Sightron's on all my rifles. Instead of owning one Nightforce or one S&B, I can now own 3 Sightron's for the same price that are just as good and in some cases better.

And as far as Bushnell goes, I think you might be impressed with there AO 4200 line-up. For the price, nothing comes close.

People really need to look into Sightron though, some insanely nice optics on their SIII and Big Sky line-ups.....up there with the best, at any price range....period

To date I've owned 8 Sightron's.....still have 4....love and loved them all.

.....but what do I know

Well said. I have vx3's and SII Big sky's, no difference!

This has been an enjoyable read.............:D

Now to add, while some of the scopes mentioned in the lower price range may be decent for their price and a good value for your dollar, IMHO you can't beat the S&B PM-II series..............;)

Sniper's hide & Sniper Central rate the S&B PM-II as one of the best, if not the best scopes on the market today.......:D

I would rather own one excellent scope, then 3 or 4 "pretty good" scopes........;)

But as always, YMMV..............

Hensoldt (Zeiss), Schmidt & Bender, Premier and Nightforce Khales.

But S&B has my vote as number one, but i own PM-II series so....it's a biased opinion.

Fun thread! But what is a S&B?
I went through every scope I could find before I found what I liked the most, but I am not familiar with that term.

*edit* Sorry, thread above mine answered that..

I just ordered a S&B and it is going back to factory for repair. Not too impress about that but beside what need to be fixed, best quality I ever seen on a scope...

i have a huskamaw mounted on a 338 edge i love it this scope does what they say,my friend just paid over double what i paid for mine he bought nightforce and by no means shoots any further than i do

I saw one, wondered how anyone could buy it in the first place. Looks like crap anyway you look at it.
