Loss of good friend
Sorry to hear about your loss.
It been of 10 years since I lost my Candy.
I had to send her to the vet on new Years Eve to put her down.
I sent her wrapped in my hunting coat.
I was with her till the end.
I still have her with me in my minds eye.
I swore that I would never let another dog get so close to me again.
The pain was too much.
I will be with her someday in that good duck blind in the sky.
And she will retreive to perfection for just a little pat on the head and a hug.
God I miss that dog.
