On the first 78 I bought I floated the barrel. Put on a Bushnell 3-9x40 with Millet hi-mount rings. Took all of the creep out of the trigger and tuned up a really light pull, like 2lbs.
On my second 78 all I did was take the creep out of the trigger and left the pull a little heavier, like 4lbs.
If I get too bored, maybe I'll refinish one of the stocks in transparent black stain.
