Police state does not trust its citizens with this stuff. Says they start fires and explode or glow on impact. Disturbing and nasty compounds are used in them and so big brother has taken precautions for our safety and made them unobtanium in order to prevent something bad happening in the future.??? Remember its for your safety
I tend to agree, there are way too many dumba$$es out there that, can get their hands on these and not be responsible and burn down something, and make the whole gun community look bad. I don't think it's worth the risk having these rounds around for use.
Leviathan, just keep trying! They will start grass fires, don't ask me how I know.
They turn up every now and then. I purposely tried to start some dry grass on fire on my land in a safe area and it just would not happen. Even adding extra distance to be sure of full ignition.they were banned from import by the fun police no safety reasons. Man I love tracers!
Anyone who was in the army can attest to the fact tracers can and do start fires. I can't count the amount of times cease fires were called and everyone piled into a 2 1/2 ton with shovels and water packs. Ahh.... Fun times
Yes same here I usually shoot them at dusk and when snow is on the ground.what he said. that's why I always wait till it rains after to shoot them.
big issues with fire and ricochets. if anyone disputes this see the MG fire at night time, the traces hit berm and go skyward, its just how they react, im not sure if its how they are built or the actual incendiary that causes it.
WRONG. Unlawful under the Explosives Regulations (or did you think the Firearms Act was the only legislation that affected this sport?). Readers Digest version:Legal aspect:
Tracer rounds: legal (frowned apon, and genraly not aproved for use at most ranges)
An amusing little Freudian slip there that I'm sure some would agree with!It would feel right without you!![]()
