Glad you guys enjoyed. I’ll put some more up when I get back to my computer again.
John Y, I did strap the cam to a rock, then built a pile of rocks around it, hoping to keep it from getting knocked over. I left the cam for a whole year (aug 2016-aug2017), it did get bumped a couple times, but still kept a good view of where i wanted it pointed.

my deer yarded about two weeks ago, the bears are sleepin' and the wolves make only rare appearances. however, there are a few furry critters about.

Our deer yard two concessions over. I find it amazing how tight they keep to the yard even in this latest thaw. They don't wander over this far. Wolves do, and coyotes, but deer are absent. Noted that I have not seen a moose of late either, so maybe they steer clear when the wolves are around the yard.

Unless of course your using a cellular trail cam.

Well went scouting today looking for some signs of wolves , found some tracks. When I checked my trail cam I had a bit of a surprise.

I did find some tracks...so I'm in the right neighbourhood.

Naw, no cell service there lol. About 90km float plane ride, then a loooong days hike. I plan on flying in again this coming August, I’ll be bringing 2-3 cams along to leave for the year again. I think I’ll try video mode on a couple this time, should be interesting.

Deer from last spring. There was 4 bucks .
