Trail cam pics

No big trophy shots but the lighting is really nice and they look pretty warm with those winter coats :)

Gap in the fence

There was a large hole in the rusty old page wire fence and only a single strand of barbed wire left running between the posts. The deer/game trail went through the hole but it wasn't heavily travelled. I've got no stock to keep in so last fall I cut the section of fence out, removed the barbed wire strand and left it open. The gap is now like a highway for them. Its about 400 meters from my back door.

I got this pic of a whitetail getting harassed by a coyote this past November. The camera had been out for several months and the batteries died. When I replaced them I forgot to reset the date and time.

Just picked up a spypoint link evo this week...so cool to know practically instantly when something shows up. These pics are from this afternoon. Two rather large hawks are enjoying the deer-sicle I put out this week in hopes of attracting coyotes. For reference, the deer-sicle you can see in the pic was made by placing the scraps from my 2018 deer in a 5 gal bucket, filling with water and subsequently freezing.

This thread has given me a lot of enjoyment and with any luck I will be able to contribute some interesting pics.
