Lots of coyotes in 92B this year. One has a nice light red colour, and can be seen trailing the another coyote in the first picture.

The Fox has kept a hole down to the rib cages of my deer all winter. The ravens are now taking wads of deer hair from the heads,for nesting.

2026 first half highlights...

Everybody loves the salt lick apparently. Just checked my 2 trail cams for the first time in a month or so, 7000+ pictures to go through. Most were just wind, but easily had 2000 pictures of various moose and deer enjoying the salt lick.

I’ve gotten several images of brown-phase black bears in the Rainy River area of NW Ontario.

Nature is harsh; at the 1:37:00 mark of the video, a mother Cougar is seen dragging the carcass of a freshly killed deer.
If you set playback speed to 0.25x's you can see the carcass dragging underneath/behind the Cougar.
