Good pic TBart. I took one of my cameras up to my moose hunting country in Swan Hills area, 10 days ago. The other has been on duty for 3 weeks now and I haven't gotten around to checking it. I needs to...

checked it in the last 6 weeks? :D

The camera that I had up near our moose camp came up empty; it had a bunch of "events" recorded on it but no pics. I guess every time any critters walked by it, they went by too quick to get their pics taken. :(

Now I have my 2 cameras set out in the central Swan Hills area, near where I work. I have not had a chance to look at them for a couple of weeks. I am very interested to see what might be on them. One camera is set up right on a scrape line.

did you end up getting any pics?

my trail cam packed it in and wouldnt take a picture, although it would record events, and take pictures when manually triggered with the remote. :( back to Bushnell it went, a few months ago. Got nothing back yet, and no word from them.

why not turn the camera so it faces the other direction of the trail? :p

If the camera has a flash there is a better chance of the critter seeing it and getting spooked? Broadside angles offer a better pictures to help identify / score the animals your after. The camera may also trigger too early if pointed down the trail?

What happens if somebody walks by this and takes it?

I made this for my CuddeBack Noflash...

Stops curious bears from chewing on it, and it lag bolts the camera to the tree. Any fackers try to steal it, all they'll get is a broken foot. I made it larger than the camera itself so it can also accommodate miscellaneous related items.

No pictures of wee-beasties yet. Now that my lockbox is complete, I'll be getting the camera out ASAP. No way I was leaving $600 screwed to a tree :) .

This pic is one it snapped off while I was setting it up in my yard...

well I got a new Trail Cam, warranty deemed my other cam messed up enough to replace it rather than fix

hopefully this one can last more than 90 straight days in the bush..
