I think I bought the last of it. Can't wait to try out some 45 colt loads with it.rats, all gone now
They are 9 ounce containers - so no - $69.99 lolIs the "brand that's true" charging $99.99 a lb for it?
That works out to 124.43 a pound. Ouch! Plus tax of course. They are 9 ounce containers - so no - $69.99 lol
Could you suggest alternatives for loading 45-70 to shoot out of my Sharps rifle? I did use N32C and even Clays when Trail Boss was not available. N32C is now discontinued and I found Clays to be very sensitive to powder position because it's a very light charge - even with a magnum rifle primer. I use H335 for 45-70 reloads for my lever gun, but only looking to get ~1000fps out of my Sharps. What other fluffy (low density) smokeless powders could I try?So many powders. This is not one that is needed.
To each his own. Trailboss is my favourite. I use it for most of my rifles, especially my WWI and WWII bolt actions. 303 British, 8mm Lebel, 7.62x54R, 8x56R, 8mm Mauser, 43 Mauser and more.So many powders. This is not one that is needed.
If you can find it, I'd suggest Red Dot or Unique. Lyman Cast reloading manual is my go-to for light target loads.Could you suggest alternatives for loading 45-70 to shoot out of my Sharps rifle?
