He he eh he

I was just checking out the 303 thread and member aledgedly in good standing *BIGREDD* said these sporters reminded him of trailer park guns :D Bit of a gun snob that guy, but he's got good lines...

So I was thinking i'm sure there's much better trailer park guns out there than a poor ol LE sporter. Might be fun to find out :)

Here's my entry, and no I don't have photos. I mean who would take the picture of a Cooey  But she's a model 39 with a 3/8" nut apature sight that I soldered on to the broken rear buckhorn sight. Wears a lovely acetone stain on the rear stock but that wasn't by design.

I suppose actual pics would help in this contest. But there's no prise anyway so fill yer boots how you see fit.

How about this Baikal:

It was chopped when I bought it, she's cyl/cyl, and I camo'd it myself.

I have a 7600 in 35Whelen w/a 1.5x5 Leupold.

I guess I could up the "trailer park gun" factor if it was a 30/06 with see-thru mounts with a cheeep 3x9x50 Tasco and one of those 3lb leather cobra slings that says "REMINGTON" down the middle and hold extra ammo at the top.

It was a jungle carbine before Bubba got his hands on it....
Shoots great though;)

Do I win:p

Russ...

Yeah... Trailer park guns.
I think they should all be taken down for parts and tomatoe stakes. Bubba'd rilfes make me want to kick the Wall Mart Greeter right in the sack!
I have a couple that I use for training.... a Canopener in 30WCF that wuz used for a jack handle and an Enfield that was Bubba'd by Billy Bob hisself. I get a bad rash whenever I handle them during a safety course.
I'm serious.:D

Hey, I live in a trailer park

so here's my list::p
2 Browning semi-auto 22 take down models
a Browning BBR in 300WM with a 3x9 scopechief
a Browning BAR in 308 with a 3x9 leupold
a ruger mini-14
and an old wingmaster.

So Julian and Bubbles better watch out.:D :dancingbanana:

My 458 Win Mag "Improved" (shoulder is blown out) - throws a 350gr slug at an easy 2500 fps and weighs all of 8 lbs.

I have $250 in her. Built on a Mauser 98 action, sitting in a miltary M98 stock sprayed with truck bedliner and with a recoil pad afixed. A Bushnell fixed 4X tops her off.

I'm sorry to report that it is easy to handle and accurate, even though it's not supposed to be.

Pretty well all those guns have been sold to me on the Exchange forums by guys who described them as almost new, or great shape, or similar useful ratings......

Like that pair of Marlins from down east with more home-made parts in them than original equipment. The rusty nail firing pin was a stroke of genius, I thought..... I wonder if that guy is still screwing folks on the EE forums????
